Description

This Cupra Ateca is a proper sports car vibe in an estate body – sharp, responsive, and packed with tech. I bought it new in 2022 and have kept it well maintained, mostly driving it for daily use and weekend trips. It’s not flashy, but it’s got a lot of the stuff you’d expect from a Cupra: the sporty steering, drive modes (Normal, Sport, CUPRA, and Individual), and that digital cockpit that feels alive when you’re on the move.

Inside, it’s got leather seats with dinamica upholstery, heated steering wheel, and a decent amount of storage – including under the driver’s seat and in the roof console. The seats are comfortable, and the second row has a 60/40 fold, which helps when I need to squeeze in a couple of kids or a large bag. There’s also a decent amount of tech: wireless phone charging, DAB navigation, front and rear cameras, self-parking, and even a trip computer.

Exterior is clean and well-maintained – dark tinted rear windows, gloss black side trim, chrome front grille, and those signature Cupra bumpers with the dark aluminium diffusers. The headlights are full LED with cornering light function, and the rear lights have that dynamic effect when you’re turning. It’s got a nice dark tone to it, and the rear spoiler and side wings add a bit of presence.

I’ve used it a lot over the years, and it’s been reliable. The car has ABS, ESC, traction control, and all the safety features you’d expect. The 2.0 TSI engine is smooth and punchy, and the 4WD setup works well on winding roads or when the weather turns.

I’m moving to Burgess-hill, Mid Sussex, and it’s just a matter of time before I find a new home for it. It’s been a solid car for the years I’ve had it, and I’m happy to part with it – especially since I’ve already had a few good years of driving it.

Price is £22,499.10, so it’s not cheap, but it’s a solid, capable car with a lot of practicality and a bit of style. I’m not selling it just to make a quick profit – I’ve genuinely enjoyed driving it, and I’m happy to pass it on to someone who’ll appreciate it.
