Description
Got this 2023 Trek Marlin 5 in Alpha Silver – it’s one of those rare sizes, and I’ve actually only seen a couple of them in person. It’s been properly looked after, so it’s in great shape. A few light scratches and stone chips, but I’ve touched them up and they’re barely noticeable. The wheels are 29” Bontanger – rear has a Maxxis Argent, front still keeps the original Bontanger XR2. Fork is the SR Suntour XCT 30 with lockout, preload, and 100mm travel. Brakes are Tektro hydraulic, pads were replaced recently and it stops well. Groupset is 2x8 Shimano Altus – shifts smooth and clean, no issues up or down the gears. I’m based in Calne, Wiltshire, and I’ve been using it for a few years, so it’s been ridden, but not abused. I’ve just decided to take it off the bike rack – it’s a solid, rare bike in a size that’s not common. Price is £315, but I’m happy to chat if you’re interested.Seller Information
