2020 Vauxhall Crossland X 1.2 T Griffin 5-door hatchback
Description
Got this car from a few years back, still drives really well and has been well looked after. It’s a 2020 Vauxhall Crossland X with the 1.2 T Griffin engine – manual gearbox, five doors, petrol. Not flashy, but it’s solid, practical, and has loads of features you’d expect in a modern hatch. The inside is pretty much all cloth with a bit of leather on the steering wheel – the seats are adjustable, both driver and passenger, and the rear seats fold down easily. The cabin is clean, there’s a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB radio, USB, and Bluetooth. I’ve used it for a lot of long drives and short trips, so the tech works fine.
It’s got a fair bit of safety stuff – ESP, ABS, airbags, side impact protection, and even a curtain airbag. The seats have anti-submarining support, and there’s a pollen and air filter. The windows are electric, one-touch, and the mirrors adjust automatically. All the lights work well – daytime running lights, hazard lights, fog lights, and the headlamps level themselves.
I’ve also got a few little touches I like: welcome lighting, demist vents, solar glass on the windscreen, interior ambient lighting, and even a 12V point in the front. The rear door pockets have bottle holders too – useful if you’re going on a road trip.
It’s been parked in Haltwhistle, Northumberland for a while now. I’m not selling it to anyone I don’t know, so it’s just being passed on. The price is £10,165.50 – not a lot, but it’s still a decent car with good value.
If you’re thinking about a practical, well-equipped hatch that doesn’t need a lot of fuss, this might be the one. I’ll keep it simple – no fluff, just the facts.
