Denon DR-M10 Cassette Deck
Description
I’ve had this Denon DR-M10 for years and it’s been a real workhorse in my setup. It’s from the 80s, but still sounds great – clean, clear, and no fuzz. I’ve only used it a bit, and the heads have been cleaned properly so it’s running smoothly. It’s a 2-head, 4-track stereo deck with metal tape and B/C noise reduction, which means it cuts through the noise well. The tape speed is 4.8 cm/s, and it’s got a solid build – the motor and mechanisms all work fine. I’ve tested it recently and it plays tapes perfectly, from old vinyls to cassette records. It’s not flashy, but it delivers. It’s currently in Coleford, Forest of Dean, and I’m happy to show it in person if you’re around. I’ve got a few other used hifi bits I’ve been keeping around, so if you’re into vintage gear, you might like some of the others too. Just check out my profile – I’ll be honest about what’s in there.
