I’ve got this red kite crib – it’s got a drop-down side so I can use it as a bedside crib when the kids are little. The height is adjustable, which is handy for growing toddlers. I bought it when the kids were tiny and it’s been through a few phases of use, but it’s still in great shape overall. The wood is solid, no major dents or wear, and the mechanism works smoothly. I’m moving to Stromness, Orkney Islands and it’s just sitting in the back of my cupboard, so I’m passing it on. It’s a solid, practical piece that’s been loved and used – not fancy, just functional.
