2017 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI Diesel SUV
Description
I’m selling my 2017 VW Tiguan TDI – it’s been a solid workhorse for years, and honestly, I’ve never had a bad trip in it. It’s a diesel, so it’s got that classic reliability, and with the 2.0 TDI engine and 4Motion, it handles both city drives and weekend trips just fine. The cabin is clean and comfortable – climate control keeps it nice even on cold days, and the 8-inch touchscreen with navigation and Car-Net is actually pretty handy. I use it for work and family trips, and the boot’s big enough for a couple of kids’ school bags and a bit more.
It’s Euro 6 compliant, so it’s got that modern bit of greenness, and I’ve had it serviced properly – last one in August 2025, with a MOT until March 2026. The parking sensors help when I’m turning into tight spots, and the Bluetooth keeps me connected without having to fumble for my phone.
I’ve got a bit of a long-term view on this one – I’ve had it for over five years, and it’s been well looked after. I’ve had it through all sorts of weather, from rainy days to sunny weekend drives, and it’s always been reliable.
It’s not flashy, but it does what it needs to. I’ve had a full history check, free AA roadside cover for 12 months, and no hidden costs – no admin fees, no surprises. The only thing I’d say is that the 12V socket in the back is handy when I’m doing things like charging a laptop or phone.
It’s parked in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, so if you’re around there, it’s easy to see it. I’ve also got a 5-day drive-away insurance cover in place, which gives me peace of mind if I need to move it.
I’ve been around cars for a while, and I know how to spot what’s good and what’s not. I’ve actually got a few other cars in my garage, but this one’s been my daily driver for years. I’m not selling it because I need the money – I just want to let it go and get a bit of space.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to meet up or show it live. No pressure, just honest talk. I’ll even let you test drive it for seven days if you want to.
Price is £10,034.10 – that’s not a selling point, it’s just the reality. But I’ll be fair about it.
I’m not a car expert, but I’ve driven this one every day for years, and I know it’s been well-maintained. If you’ve ever wanted a reliable, practical SUV that doesn’t go overboard on tech, this one’s a no-brainer.
