So, I’ve had this 2017 Golf GTE for a few years now — it’s been a solid daily driver, and I’m just getting rid of it. It’s not flashy, but it’s actually quite practical. I’ve kept it well looked after and it’s had a full service history, plus it’s been through an AA inspection — that means it’s been checked properly, point by point.

It’s a plug-in hybrid with a 1.4L petrol engine, so it runs on petrol but can also switch to electric mode for short trips. That’s great if you’re trying to save on fuel or just don’t want to charge it every time. The cabin is clean and modern — leather trim, heated seats, LED lights, and all the usual bits like parking sensors, automatic headlights, and a touchscreen navigation system.
