Got this Honda Civic in 2005, originally from Lydbrook in the Forest of Dean. It’s a 1.6 litre 5-door hatchback with automatic transmission — pretty simple, reliable car. MOT’d in November 2011, so 11 months of recent history. Total mileage’s around 129,000, and it’s been properly looked after with a full service record. Only two owners from new, so it’s been fairly quiet on the road. A few small age-related marks on the bodywork, nothing major. Runs smooth, drives great — no knocking or issues while driving. The only thing I’ve noticed is when it’s in park, the revs will climb to about 1500rpm, but that doesn’t affect anything else. Still, it’s a very economical little car, especially for how it handles. I’ve kept it running well, no drama, just a bit of a habit with the park issue. Price’s £1,075.50 — not much, and it’s been a solid daily driver for years.
