So, I’ve got a 3-bedroom first floor flat on Benson Road in Port Talbot, Neath Port Talbot — not Newcastle anymore, so just wanted to clarify that. It’s a fairly solid flat with gas central heating, UPVC double glazing, and a fitted oven and hob in the kitchen. There’s one bathroom and it’s unfurnished, so you’ll need to bring your own furniture.

The flat is on the first floor, so no stairs down — just a couple of steps up. There’s on-street parking too, which is handy.

It’s available from 1st September 2025, and the council tax band is A, with an EPC rating of 71 (C).

To apply, you’ll need:
- A reference from your previous landlord
- A reference from your current employer
- Proof of ID (passport or equivalent) — non-UK residents will need a Right to Rent share code
- Proof of income (work contract, payslips for 3–6 months, and matching bank statements) to show you can afford the bills
- A guarantor who owns property — this is a big one, so if you can provide that, it’ll go a lot smoother
