Description

Got this Zephyr from a long-time fan who’s always been into Kawasaki — it’s basically a ZR1100 A4, but with a clean, modern twist. It’s not flashy, but it handles well, brakes are sharp, and the ride is smooth. I’ve got it in a heated garage in dollar, Clackmannanshire, so it’s always ready to go.

8,055 miles on it — all of that was logged with proper care. The tank, side panels, and tail are unmarked and look great. Black powder-coated wheels give it a solid, grounded look. I’ve had it through a full service: oil, filter, fluids changed every year. Air filter and plugs (8 new ones!) were swapped out, engine sump cleaned, valves checked, and all engine bolts upgraded to stainless steel.

I fitted a genuine US Factory Pro transmission detent arm kit to fix that second gear issue — it’s a real fix, not a quick fix. The sound? A brand new Misty 4 into 1 exhaust from Japan — it’s loud and clean, and it’s not just for show. I’ve also got Future or Kerker exhausts on hand if you’re after something else.

It’s got a new MOT and I’ve kept it spotless — no scrapes, no rust, just good solid work. It’s easy to ride, feels safe, and I’ve never ridden it hard. I’ve actually owned it for years and still enjoy it. No fancy mods, just proper care and a real love for the machine.
