Description

So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2018 Golf 1.5 TSI EVO 150 GT, five-door hatchback, white, and it’s been well looked after. I’ve actually driven it quite a bit over the years, and it’s been reliable, quiet, and just about as easy to drive as it looks.

It’s got that 1.5-litre TSI engine, which gives 150PS — not too punchy, not too shy — just enough for everyday stuff like getting to work, dropping kids off at school, or a weekend trip out. It’s got that smooth, confident drive, and I’ve noticed it’s pretty economical for a hatchback.

The GT trim gives it a bit of sporty flair — alloy wheels, sports seats, and a decent tech setup. The touchscreen is easy to use, has Bluetooth, navigation, Apple/Android Auto, and USB. I use it for music and maps a lot, so it’s been handy. The seats are comfy, and the back seats have plenty of room — no one’s ever complained about space. The boot’s solid too, plenty for groceries or a weekend bag.

Inside, it’s clean and well put together — good materials, no smell, everything works. The climate control’s a plus in the winter, and the parking sensors help when I’m parking in tight spots. I’ve also got the adaptive cruise control, city emergency brake, and a few safety features like automatic post-collision braking and a dust/pollen filter in the AC.

It’s got 61,109 miles on it, and I’ve kept it well-maintained — regular servicing, no major issues. I’ve even had the battery regeneration system checked, and it’s been running fine.

I’m moving to Carnforth, Lancashire, so I’m parting with it now. It’s been a solid companion over the years, and I’m not sure I’ll be needing it anymore.

It’s worth a look — not flashy, not flashy at all, but it does what it’s supposed to do, quietly and reliably. If you’re in the market for something practical, well-built, and not too expensive to run, this might just be your kind of car.

The price is £10,726.20 — I’m not going to go over that, but it’s a fair price given the mileage and condition.

If you’re interested, just give me a shout — happy to chat about it. No pressure, just a car I’ve had for a while and now want to hand over.
