Spacetherm A1 Wall Liner Insulation 13 boards
Description
So I’ve got these 13 Spacetherm A1 wall liner boards left over from a renovation I did in Melton-Constable, North Norfolk. They’re brand new, never been cut or used — just sitting in the shed, ready to go.These are the Spacetherm WL Wall Liner panels — 13mm thick, made from a 10mm aerogel layer bonded to a 3mm magnesium board (MgO). The thing is, they’re way thinner than regular plasterboard laminates, but they deliver the same kind of insulation performance. That’s huge when you’re working with tight spaces — especially in older builds where walls are thick or hard to treat.
I used them on a wall that had been a real pain to insulate, and it just went on smoothly — no nailing, no fixings, just stuck directly to the existing solid wall. Once it’s on, you can still do wallpaper, paint, or tiles on top — no issues.
Each board is 600mm x 1200mm, so covers about 0.72m². It’s not just about insulation — it’s about letting walls breathe too, which I found really helpful in a damp-prone area. The materials are non-hazardous and safe to work with, and they’re perfect for refurbishments where you don’t want to mess with the structure.
I didn’t use all of them, so they’re just sitting there. If you're doing a renovation and want something thin but effective, these might be worth a look. I’m not selling them to anyone I know, just passing them on. Price is £450 — fair for what they are.
If you’re in Melton-Constable, North Norfolk, or nearby, I’m happy to chat or even drop them off. Otherwise, I can arrange a pickup.
