Description

This console table is from the 1910s, solid mahogany with proper dovetail joints in the drawers – you can see the craftsmanship in the way they’re built and the original brass drop handles still sit nicely on the sides. The drawer runners are smooth and it opens up well, no sticking. The whole thing had a bit of wear over the years, but I took it apart and had it professionally painted in Farrow & Ball estate eggshell – it’s a soft, clean finish that’s actually quite durable. The overhang and sconce supports are still there, giving it that classic Edwardian look.

It’s been sitting in my place in Shenfield, right by Shenfield Station Subway – easy to get to if you’re coming over. I’m happy to collect it from there, or deliver it to you. I’ve used Shiply before and it’s been reliable, so I can give you a quote for delivery to anywhere in mainland UK – just let me know your postcode and I’ll work it out.

Dimensions: 107cm wide, 47cm deep, 75cm high. It’s a bit of a chunky piece, but it’s solid and looks great in a living room or hallway. If you’re interested, just drop me a message – I’ll share a bit more if needed.

P.S. It’s worth about £112.50 if you’re wondering – I’ve kept it in good shape for years, so it’s a real piece with a bit of history.
