Ford Focus Zetec 2009

Description

Got this Ford Focus Zetec in 2009 and it’s been my go-to car for years – used it every day for school runs, work, and just getting around. It’s solid, runs well, and feels comfortable even on long trips. The 1.6 engine pulls smoothly, and the gearbox is a breeze to shift. It’s a bit worn in a few places, which is normal for a car that’s seen a fair bit.

Just had new tyres and a new battery fitted – both were installed recently, so it’s in decent shape now. One thing I’ve noticed is that sometimes, after sitting in the sun for a while, it shows an engine malfunction light. But it’s not a real problem – as soon as I drive it and turn it off again, it goes away. I think it might just be a loose connection in the ECU, but I don’t have the time to dig into it properly. I’m not looking to fix it myself, just want to get it out of my hands and into someone who can.

It’s got a valid MOT until the end of August, so it’s safe to drive. I’m not selling it because I need a car, just because I’ve had enough of the daily grind.
