I’ve been using this one for a few weeks now, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for my bedroom. It’s the Stylies ALAZE from Switzerland — the kind of thing you’d only hear about if you’ve ever struggled with dry air, especially in winter. Got it brand new, never actually turned on, just popped it out of the box to check it worked and take a few photos.

It works through evaporation — water goes through a filter, then gets gently diffused into the air via a small fan. No loud hums or energy spikes, which I appreciate when I’m trying to sleep. The big thing is it doesn’t over-humidify — once the air is saturated, it stops, so you don’t end up with moldy rooms.

There’s a little light on the side that tells you the humidity level: green means perfect, orange means it’s a bit dry, red means the tank’s empty. And it’s a top-fill system — no need to unplug or carry it around to refill. Just add water when needed.

The design is clean and simple — works great in a bedroom, office, or living room. I’ve seen it listed online for up to £144 or €139, so it’s not cheap, but I’ve kept it for myself and now I’m passing it on.
