2017 Nissan Qashqai 1.2 DIG-T N-Connecta SUV
Description
So, I’ve had this 2017 Nissan Qashqai for just over five years now, and it’s been a solid daily driver through all sorts of weather — from rainy Dundee drives to sunny Dunoon weekends. It’s got a clean history, mostly kept well looked after, and I’ve actually driven it quite a bit in the Highlands and around the coast. It’s a petrol manual with a 1.2-litre engine, so not super powerful, but it’s got plenty of grip and a smooth ride. I’ve kept it low-mileage, and the only major work was a couple of minor repairs when the rear lights needed replacing — nothing fancy.
The interior is still crisp, and I’ve kept it tidy with all the tech bits working: keyless start, Bluetooth, DAB radio, touchscreen, cruise control, lane departure warning, and reversing camera. The panoramic glass roof is a nice touch — lets in loads of light, especially in the summer.
I’ve also got 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic lights and wipers, dual climate control, and a driver-adjustable seat. The rear load cover is handy for carrying gear when I go hiking or just run errands. Safety features are solid too — airbags, ABS, parking sensors, and even heated mirrors.
It’s not a flashy car, but it’s reliable, practical, and still runs well. I’m moving house to Dunoon, Argyll and Bute, and I’m selling it because I’m going to focus on a smaller, more manageable vehicle. It’s been a great companion over the years, and I’m happy to part with it — it’s actually only worth about £9,445.50, which I know sounds high for a used SUV, but I’ve kept it well and it’s been mostly used for commuting and local trips.
If you’re looking for a dependable, no-nonsense SUV that doesn’t go off the rails — this one’s for you. Just don’t expect it to haul a trailer or do long-distance highway runs. It’s more about getting around town and weekend getaways.
