Got this Miele W1 8kg powerwash machine — it’s got the honeycomb drum, which I’ve actually noticed makes a real difference in how clean the clothes come out. It’s in good shape and works perfectly fine. I’ve used it every day for a few months now, and it’s been spotless. The 1400 rpm spin is solid, and it’s got 17 programmes, so you can do everything from quick washes to heavy-duty cycles.

Energy rating’s A+++, which is a bit of a standout — it’s one of the most efficient I’ve seen, and it uses only 156kWh a year. Water use is around 10,120 litres annually, which is pretty good for a machine this size. Noise levels are low too — 50dB during wash, 74dB during spin, so it doesn’t wake up the house.

It’s been in good working order since I bought it, and I’ve got a 3-month warranty on it just in case. I’m based in Hook, Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, so local delivery’s a breeze. I can also arrange deliveries to Essex and Kent if needed — just let me know and we’ll sort it out.
