So, I’ve been looking at this 2012 Elddis Crusader Superstorm touring caravan for a while now — it’s got a solid, no-nonsense feel to it, which is exactly what I was after.

It’s got six berths, so plenty of space for a family or two. The front has a nice lounge area that converts into a dinette — handy if you’re cooking up a storm or just want to chill with a cup of tea. There’s a side washroom with a cassette toilet and a separate shower cubicle — no need to go far for a quick rinse.

The back has a double bunk conversion, which means it’s not just for sleeping, it’s for actually living in — especially if you’re on the move. The side kitchen is well-equipped: microwave, tower fridge/freezer, sink, oven/grill, and even an Aldé heater. There’s a TV bracket, a mover, three-pin sockets, speakers, blinds, and flyscreen — pretty much everything you’d want in a caravan that’s meant to be used regularly.

I’ve had it in Sittingbourne, Borough of Swale for a while now — it’s been parked there for a few years, and I’ve been keeping it in good shape. It’s fully serviced and valeted, and I’ve actually had it checked out by a local expert.

It’s worth noting that existing alarms, motor movers, and parking cameras aren’t covered under the 3-month warranty — that’s something I’ve made sure to flag up.

I’ve been buying and selling caravans for years now, and I’ve found this one to be a real workhorse. It’s been through a lot, but it still runs smoothly and handles the road well. I’m not selling it to a dealer — it’s going to a real user who’s going to actually live in it.
