I’m selling my 2014 Mercedes A-Class – the one I’ve had for over 10 years and actually still drive occasionally. It’s a polar silver metallic with 17-inch alloy wheels in a twin-spoke design (titanium finish, I think), and the interior has that grey Artico leather with a chequered cloth insert – looks sharp and feels nice.

The 1.5-litre diesel engine is punchy without being too noisy, and the 7G Tronic auto gearbox is smooth and reliable. I’ve never had any major issues with it, and it’s got a low insurance group, which means cheaper road tax and insurance – perfect if you’re just getting into driving or want something that doesn’t break the bank.

It’s got loads of smart features: cruise control with speed limiter, parking sensors, Bluetooth, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and even an SOS emergency call system. There’s also active braking assist, attention assist, and a 60/40 folding rear seat – useful for family trips.

I’ve kept it well-maintained. It’s fully HPI clear, has a fresh 12-month MOT, 3-month RAC warranty, and 12 months of RAC breakdown cover. Service history is complete, and it’s got two keys.
