Vauxhall Movano 2016 2.3 Manual Recovery Truck
Description
Got this Movano in August last year — was in great shape, drove like a new car, and I actually spent a fair bit on getting it ready. New turbo, new windscreen, fuel and air filters, all the sensors, water pumps, thermostat — everything was replaced. The invoices are in the photos if you want to check. But then it started having issues — head gasket probably failing, coolant pushing up into the reservoir, white foam forming. Not safe to drive long distances. I tried to keep it going, but it’s not reliable anymore. I’ve had it for a few months now and just can’t risk it.
It’s got a full Carter Commercial recovery body and winch on the back — that’s worth over £1.5k on its own — and the rebuilds were pretty substantial. The ECO mode and stop/start didn’t work after I bought it either.
It’s been MOT’d, September 2016, and had 160k miles at the time. I’ve lived in Slough, England, and it’s just not safe to use as is. I’d rather not drive it far.
No offers below £5k, but I’m open to a fair one. Payment by bank transfer only on collection. If you’re serious, I’ll share the full invoice history. Just don’t expect a silly offer — there’s a lot of work and parts already done.
