Vintage Peugeot bike, 70s French, medium frame, fully serviced
Description
So I’ve been keeping this Peugeot bike in my garage for years — it’s a real gem from the late 70s, made in France. It’s one of those classic steel frames, looks almost like it’s never been used much, and honestly, it’s in mint condition. I got it from a vintage bike collection I was slowly going through, and after a bit of work, I had it fully serviced at my local workshop. It’s a medium frame — perfect for someone around 150-165 cm tall. 2x6 speed, alloy wheels (700c), tyres are 700x25. Brakes and gears work fine, and I’ve had it checked over thoroughly. There’s a 28-day warranty from the workshop — just in case anything shows up.
I’ve been using it for a bit of weekend rides, and it’s actually quite smooth. I’m not selling it to anyone fancy — just passing it on to someone who might actually enjoy riding a proper classic. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid and feels good.
I’m based in Talsarnau, Gwynedd, so if you’re in the area and want to check it out or give it a test ride, I can take you to my workshop at Bow Wharf. We’re next to PureGym, just off Victoria Park. I’ve got the details on Google Maps — pop in any time between 12pm and 5pm weekdays, or 12pm to 4pm on weekends. Sunday’s 11am to 3pm.
It’s £234, but I’m not saying that out loud — just thought I’d mention it in case you’re curious.
If you’ve ever ridden a vintage bike or just like the idea of one, I’d love to hear what you think. No pressure, just a real, honest share.
