Got this little Toyota Auris back in 2009, used to commute around Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. It’s a solid little hatchback with a manual gearbox – works fine most of the time, but the gear box has started to give a bit. Can still shift a few gears, just not smooth. The paint’s had a few patches where the lacquer has flaked, but it’s been mostly kept in good shape. Everything’s electric – windows, mirrors, lights – and air con works well. Full service history on file, so it’s been well looked after. I’ve been driving it for years, and it’s just been sitting around now. If you’re looking for something reliable and not too flashy, it might just fit your needs. Price’s £450, but I’m not saying it’s cheap – just something I’ve kept for a while and now it’s time to part with it.
