Swift Challenger 530 - 4berth caravan

Description

We’re selling our Swift Challenger 530 caravan – a 2009 model with a single axle and 4 berths. It’s been well used over the years, gifted to us by family and has seen a fair bit of life with our dogs and a family of four.

It’s a solid, practical caravan – 7.18m long, 2.29m wide and 2.61m high – with a full Isabella pole awning (detachable front and sides) and a breathable ground sheet. The awning’s 9.87m span is great for storing gear and keeping things dry.

Inside, the dinette folds into bunk beds, with side guards and a privacy curtain – and there’s a detachable ladder for easy access to the top bunk. The heating system works fine, and there’s a leisure battery included.

Kitchen-wise, it has a gas oven with a separate grill and hob, plus a little electric plate and a built-in microwave. The fridge has a freezer section, and there’s a decent bathroom with a shower cubicle and wardrobe space.

We’ve stripped out the carpets for our own use, so it’s clean and easy to maintain. Everything we’ve kept – crockery, cutlery, cooking gear, an air fryer, kettles, toaster, bedding, towels – is included.

It’s been serviced in 2020, CRiS registered, and has an alko wheel lock and a 40L aqua roll with two hoses. There’s a waste water canister, electric lead, ramps, and external lights and sockets.

It’s not perfect – there’s some cosmetic wear and tear from years of use – but it’s still in great working order and has plenty of life left. A few simple fixes would bring it back to like-new feel.

We’re happy to let it go with everything you’d need to get going. If you’re local to the SO40/SO45 area, you might be able to keep it in storage at the same facility for £30 per month (direct debit to the owner).
