2012 Honda Civic 1.8 i-VTE. SE Euro 5 Manual 5-door Hatchback
Description
I’ve had this 2012 Honda Civic SE for a few years now – it’s been my daily driver through most of the seasons and I’ve never had a problem with it. It’s a solid, reliable car with a nice balance of pace and practicality. The 1.8 litre i-VTEC engine gives it a good kick off the line, and it gets to 62 in about 9.1 seconds – not flashy, but definitely enough for normal driving.Inside, it’s clean and tidy – the climate control works well, and I’ve used the manual setting a lot when I’m just trying to keep the cabin cool or warm without turning on the heater. There’s also ESP and safety belt pretensioners, which I know means it’s safer than average for its class.
The boot is actually quite spacious – I’ve used it for hiking gear, camping trips, and even a bit of home office stuff. It’s not a luxury car, but it’s more than enough for what I need.
I bought it new, and it’s been well maintained. The insurance group is low, which has helped keep costs down over the years.
It’s now sitting in Kilchattan Bay on the Isle of Bute – I’ve actually moved there recently, so it’s a bit of a change of scenery. I’ve kept it running well and only done minor servicing.
I’m not selling it for a big sum – it’s £4,045.50 – but it’s still a solid, dependable car that I’d trust to take me anywhere. If you're looking for something reliable and not too flashy, this one might just fit.
If you're interested, I can show it around or let you know more about the history. Just give me a shout.
