Description

So, I’ve been keeping this motorhome in my garage in Lairg on the A836 for a few years now — it’s actually a 1997 Peugeot Boxer, 1997cc, 4-bert version with a 2.0 HDi diesel engine. It’s not massive — only 5.82 metres long — but it packs a real punch for what it is. The layout is solid: a panoramic rear L-shaped lounge with two lap belts, which is perfect for couples or families on a trip.

Inside, there’s a fully working kitchen right next to the washroom — sink, shower, and a Thetford toilet. The over-cab bunk can be used for two kids or just as extra storage if you don’t need it for sleeping. Heating and hot water are on gas or electric, with a gas heater for the main cabin — and the fridge works on gas, electric, or battery when the engine’s running.

It’s been well looked after, condition-wise — not perfect, just a few little dents and scratches here and there, nothing major. The interior’s clean, the seats are comfy, and everything’s in working order.
