So, I’ve had this 2019 Smart ForFour for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been a solid little car for daily commuting. It’s got that classic city car charm — compact, easy to park, and not too noisy. Only 82,400 miles on it, and it’s been well looked after.

I’ve used it mostly around woodville, South Derbyshire, and it’s been great for getting around without the hassle of a bigger car. It’s ULEZ compliant, so no issues in London or anywhere in the capital — though I’ve only really driven it in the region, so it’s not exactly a long-distance kind of thing.

The engine’s a bit of a gem — petrol, 1.0 litre, automatic — smooth and efficient. It’s got a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox, which is nice for city driving, and the electric power steering makes it feel really responsive without being too heavy.

It’s got loads of features I’ve actually found useful: cruise control with speedtronic limiter, crosswind assist, a 3.5-inch colour display on the dash, voice recognition for my phone, USB and aux, Bluetooth — I’ve used it to stream music and even make calls hands-free. The audio system is decent, not flashy, but it works.

Inside, it’s clean and practical. Leather-trimmed climate controls, heated seats, electric windows, heated rear windscreen with timer, and even a panoramic roof with sunblind. The seats fold down easily, and the rear doors open at 85 degrees — useful when you’re dropping kids or carrying stuff.

MOT runs until July 2026, so it’s got plenty of years of reliable use ahead. Only had three registered owners before me, so it’s been fairly stable through the years.

I’m not selling it for a fancy price — it’s £5,395.50 — but I’ve been thinking about getting a new car and it’s been sitting in the garage a bit too long. So I’m parting with it, mostly because I just don’t need it anymore.
