Swift Voyager 685 FB 4 berth diesel automatic motorhome 2008
Description
So, I’ve got this 2008 Swift Voyager 685FB motorhome — it’s a 4-bert, diesel, automatic, based on the 3-litre Fiat Ducato chassis. It’s got around 44,000 miles on it from new, which is fair enough, but it’s been well looked after. The layout is pretty solid: rear French bed with the washroom on the offside. The bed has a decent storage area underneath — perfect for stowing outdoor chairs or just extra gear. There’s a big window letting in light, and an aircon unit (Dometic) over the bed — really helps in warmer months. The bedroom also has a TV already fitted, plus overhead storage and reading lights — handy for evenings.
The washroom is clean and practical: shower with two doors (so no wiping after use), electric flushing toilet, hand basin, mirror, and storage both by the basin and above the toilet. The wardrobe’s full-length and plenty big enough for summer dresses — I’ve actually used it for that.
Kitchen’s in the middle — big fridge with a 3-way system and a separate freezer. Full cooking setup: 3-burner gas hob, one electric hob (great if you run out of gas), oven, grill, microwave. Sink has a plastic drainer and chopping board. I love the under-sink carousel — keeps things tidy.
Lounge is front-facing — side settee, forward dinette that can seat two extra people with travel seats. The dinette swings out, so you can actually get five people around the table. Over the cab is a good-sized double that folds out when not in use — plenty of headroom, so you don’t feel cramped. It’s accessed via a ladder, which isn’t the easiest but works fine.
Fits with a standard awning, and has all the extras: towbar with electrics, bike rack, reversing camera, gas BBQ point, and cab blinds.
It’s coming with a fresh MOT, service, and habitation check — all done and ready.
I’ve been running this family business for over 30 years, mostly focusing on Nu-Venture motorhomes. We’ve got about 25 vehicles in stock — from £5k up to over £70k. All vehicles are unlocked daily so you can pop in and check them out.
We don’t just sell — we’re here for aftercare, advice, and help. I’ve had plenty of people come through and say they’ve never felt more confident buying a motorhome before.
It’s sitting in Lochgilphead, Argyll and Bute now — easy to get to from the west coast.
Price is £29,695.50, but I’ll be honest — it’s not just about the price. It’s about how it feels to drive, how it sleeps, and how it fits your life.
If you’re thinking about something like this, I’d love to chat — no pressure, just a real talk about what it’s like to live in one.
