2024 Hyundai Kona Ultimate EV – Front, side, rear damage – salvage repairable

So, I’ve got this 2024 Hyundai Kona Ultimate EV (24 reg) sitting here in Dolgellau, Gwynedd – it’s been through a bit of a rough patch with front, side, and rear damage. It’s a salvage vehicle, so it’s been through an insurance claim, and I’m not promising it’s perfect or ready to drive straight out of the yard.

If you’re thinking about looking at it, I’d really recommend you come and see it in person. I can’t guarantee anything – no warranties, no hidden faults. The photos and details I’ve got here are just a quick snapshot. You’ll need to check the actual damage yourself, and ideally bring a mechanic or engineer along to get a real feel for what’s going on.

It’s been through the system – some of these vehicles show up clear on HPI at times, but that might not last. All of them will eventually show up on HPI, so do your own check. Also, it’s not safe to drive on public roads until it’s fully repaired and meets all legal standards. If it has a MOT, that doesn’t mean it’s safe to drive – it could have been damaged after the test. You’ll need a new MOT once it’s fixed.

I’m not selling it as a “ready-to-drive” car. It’s a salvage unit, and I’ve just got it sitting here for people who want to get a look at what’s out there. If you’re serious about buying, I’m happy to go through it with you.

The price is £5,805 – I’ll keep that in mind if you’re asking, but I don’t want anyone making a decision based on what I say without seeing it.

P.S. If you're thinking about buying, don’t just rely on the online specs. Those get filled in by eBay and Gumtree – they might not be 100% right. I’ve seen a few that look good on paper but don’t hold up when you inspect them. So, come and check it out.
