2022 Vauxhall Crossland 1.2 Turbo Elite 5-door Hatchback
Description
I’ve had this Vauxhall Crossland for a few years now — it’s been my go-to car for commuting and family trips. It’s a bit of a hidden gem in terms of practicality: not too big, not too small, and it’s genuinely fuel-efficient for how much space it has.The front end is clean and modern — that Vauxhall grille and sharp headlights give it a solid presence, and the raised ride height means you can see better when driving, especially when parking or turning. Inside, it’s roomy enough for two adults and a couple of kids, with decent head and leg room. The rear seats fold down easily, which comes in handy when I’ve got a big load or need extra space.
It’s got all the smart bits: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB radio, Bluetooth, cruise control, and parking sensors. The cabin is fully carpeted, which I’ve really appreciated in the rainy season. There’s also heated rear window, side window demist vents, and a solar heat absorbing screen — small things that make a difference in the winter.
Safety features are solid too: ABS, ESP, traction control, hill start assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and even automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. All of that’s standard, which I’m glad about.
I bought it new from Bristol Street Motors back in 2022, and they’ve been really thorough with the checks — full HPI report, VOSA mileage verification, and no accident or finance history. That’s a big relief, especially since I’m not a full-time driver.
It’s currently based in Bidford-on-Avon, near Stratford-on-Avon, and I’ve only driven it a few hundred miles since I last had it serviced. It runs well, feels solid, and I haven’t had any issues with the engine or electronics.
It’s worth noting it’s a manual, so if you’re used to driving with a stick, you’ll probably find it satisfying — not too hard to learn, especially if you’ve got a bit of experience.
Price is £12,599 — it’s a fair bit for a used car, but I’m not trying to sell it for a premium. I just wanted to get rid of it and move on. If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat or meet up — no pressure, just a real car with real mileage and a clean history.
No flashy marketing here — just a honest, practical vehicle with a solid track record.
