MONTRACON 44FT INSULATED FRIDGE FREEZER BOX TRAILER - 2015

Description

This 44ft Montracon insulated fridge/freezer box trailer is a solid, well-maintained unit from 2015. It’s a tri-axle chassis with a clean, practical design — the body’s got aluminium chequer plate flooring and insulated barn doors, which keeps things dry and keeps cold air locked in.

Rear aperture is 10ft 5in, internal height is the same — so it’s got plenty of headroom. The rear has a Carrier Vector 1950 MT diesel fridge unit with bulk head controls and a chassis-mounted diesel tank, which means you can run it without needing a separate fuel setup.

Safety features include aluminium side guard rails, SAF axles with 385/65R 22.5 tyres, drum brakes, and a full Haldex ABS/EBS system with ISO susie connector. Air suspension with raise and lower control makes it easy to level up or down depending on what you're parking on. Jost dual-speed landing legs help with stability when loading or unloading.

Plated weight and design weight both sit at 38,000kg — the king pin plated weight is 14,000kg. Trailer dimensions: 14.1m long, 2.6m wide, and 4.8m tall. It’s tested until September 2025 and has registration C399243. Spec number is 34831.

I’ve kept it in good order over the years — it’s been used fairly regularly but not pushed hard. It’s currently based in Heywood, Rochdale, and I’m happy to take it out of storage or help with moving it if needed.
