I’m parting ways with my 2021 Kia Sportage – a solid, reliable SUV I’ve had for a few years now. It’s a 1.6-litre petrol engine with four-wheel drive, Euro 6 compliant, and currently has a valid MOT until November 2025. Last service was done at 40,219 miles back in April 2025, so it’s been well looked after.

Inside, it’s got heated front and outer rear seats, a reversing camera with parking sensors, and Android Auto with voice control – makes it easy to keep in touch with my phone without taking hands off the wheel. Automatic lights adjust based on the weather, which is a nice touch.

The boot’s big enough for groceries or weekend trips, and it gets from 0 to 60 in about 9.2 seconds – not super fast, but it’s got enough oomph for everyday driving. I’ve kept insurance low because of the low insurance group, which makes it a pretty affordable option overall.
