Description

This Jentique teak sideboard is one of those pieces that just feels right — clean lines, solid build, and a quiet elegance that fits right into a room without trying too hard. Made in the 1960s, it’s a true mid-century British piece with sculpted recessed handles, tapered legs, and a warm, rich teak finish that’s softened by age but still holds its strength.

It’s got two large cupboards and three central drawers — plenty of space for mugs, plates, or just keeping things tidy. I’ve used it in my own place for years, and it’s held up well, with only light wear from everyday use. No major damage, just the kind of scratches and scuffs you expect from a piece that’s seen some life.

Dimensions: 183cm wide x 45cm deep x 74cm high. It’s quite a chunky piece, so if you’re thinking of moving it, you’ll need two people — it’s not something you can just lift and carry easily.

I’m based in london-colney, St Albans, so collection is only possible from there. If you’d like to pick it up, just get in touch — I’ll help you work out a time that works.

It’s been professionally cleaned and is ready to go into your home straight away. I’ve kept it dusted and stored properly, so it’s just waiting to be used.

If you’re into vintage or mid-century pieces, you might also like the others I’ve listed — from G-Plan to Hornsea, Schreiber, and more.

Care tip: Dust gently with a soft cloth. Use coasters or mats to protect the surface. A little teak oil every now and then keeps the finish looking nice.

P.S. This isn’t just furniture — it’s a little piece of history, built to last and full of quiet charm. And honestly? It’s one of the few things I’d actually want to keep around forever.
