Got this IKEA Mariedamm round table a few years back and it’s been a solid piece in my kitchen. It’s 105cm across, so it fits well in a smaller space without feeling cramped. I’ve used it a lot over the years — for meals, coffee mornings, even weekend gatherings — and it’s held up pretty well. There’s a bit of light scuffing and a couple of small marks from use, but nothing that really affects how it looks or feels. The surface is matte, so fingerprints don’t stick around much, and it’s pretty water-resistant too. The steel frame is sturdy, and I’ve noticed it doesn’t wobble or shift even when I’ve got a full spread on it. It’s a bit of a classic design — soft edges, clean lines, and that quiet, calm vibe you get from a round table. I’m moving out of Radlett, Hertsmere soon, so I’m letting it go.
