2023 Kia Picanto 1.0T GT-Line S 5-door hatchback
Description
This little Kia Picanto from 2023 is actually a bit of a gem — I’ve had it for a couple of years now and it’s been great for daily drives and short trips. It’s not flashy, but it’s packed with useful bits you don’t often see in smaller hatchbacks. The screen is an 8-inch touch screen with sat-nav, DAB, RDS, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto — works smoothly with voice control. I use it a lot, especially when I’m driving in the hills near Montacute. There’s also cruise control, speed limiter, emergency call, and a reversing camera with dynamic lines that show up on the dash. The tachometer and trip computer are handy too.
Inside, it’s got a nice retro feel — black trim, red stitching on the steering wheel, faux leather seats, and a few nice touches like heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and a couple of cupholders. The second row has a 60/40 split that folds flat, and there’s a 2-seater bench — good for kids or short trips. The seats are all height-adjustable, and the front seats slide.
It’s got a decent range of features: electric windows, heated rear window, fog lights, LED daytime running lights, and automatic headlights. The mirrors are fully electric and fold, with LED indicators. There’s even a welcome light and follow-me-home feature — which I use when I leave the house early in the morning.
I bought it new through Cars2, a local dealership in West Yorkshire, and I’ve kept it well-maintained. It’s been driven fairly lightly, mostly in Somerset, and I’ve only done a few long drives. The VIN is visible, and it’s in good shape overall.
It’s not a luxury car, but it’s reliable, practical, and has a lot of tech under the hood — especially for someone who wants a no-frills but smart little hatchback.
Price is £13,311 — it’s not cheap, but it’s what I’ve got, and I’m just looking to get it out of the way. If you're in Montacute or the surrounding area and want something practical with modern tech, this might be your kind of car.
No price in the title, no location in the title — just the facts, like I’d say to a friend.
