I’ve had this 2017 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been one of the most reliable and practical cars I’ve ever owned. It’s a 5-seater MPV with a 1.6-litre diesel engine, which gives it a real kick in fuel efficiency — I’m talking about 71 miles per gallon on the highway, which is insane for a diesel. The car’s Euro 6 compliant, so it’s low on emissions and doesn’t sting the environment, which I appreciate.

It’s got the Flair trim, which means plenty of smart features without going overboard. Front and rear parking sensors with a reversing camera make parking a breeze, especially with kids around. There’s also blind spot detection and automatic climate control — one of those little things that makes a big difference when you’re driving with the family. I use the Bluetooth system a lot, so I can keep hands off the wheel while calling or playing music.

The cabin is roomy, especially with the 7-seater layout, and it’s super easy to get in and out of.
