Description

This 2019 Peugeot 308 is a solid, well-maintained hatchback I’ve kept for a few years now – just a regular family car with a lot of smart features. It’s got that clean i-Cockpit look with the 10-inch head-up display and a 9.7-inch touchscreen in the centre console. I use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto all the time, and the navigation works really well.

The interior is comfy – mistral fabric on the door panels, leather on the seats, and it’s got a decent amount of storage. There’s a cup holder in the front centre, a few in the rear, and even a 12V socket and power point in the console. The seats have manual adjustments, and I’ve used the driver’s lumbar support quite a bit – the seat height and back angle are both adjustable.

It’s got a lot of safety bits: parking sensors, rear reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, LED daytime running lights, heated rear windscreen, and even a warning if you brake hard – it turns on the hazard lights automatically. The mirrors are electric and heated, and the side indicators are built into the mirrors too.

I’ve kept it clean and driven it fairly regularly, so it’s not a showroom model. It’s got a panoramic roof with an interior blind, and the door handles and mirrors are body-coloured – just feels more cohesive. The sound system is decent – 6 speakers, DAB radio, USB, and voice control for the radio, navigation, and phone.

I’ve been living in Bedlington, Northumberland, and I’m looking to part ways now. It’s a reliable car, not flashy but packed with practical tech. It’s been serviced regularly and has a clean history.
