Got this old Mazda 3 Sport from 2009 sitting in my garage at west-kirby, Grange Road. It’s a 2.0L petrol, manual, five-door hatchback – solid, dependable car with a bit of character. I’ve had it for a few years now, and it’s been mostly low-mileage use, so it’s still running smooth and doesn’t need much fuss.

It’s got a blue finish, alloy wheels, and that classic Mazda sporty look – not flashy, but just enough to make you smile when you’re behind the wheel. Aircon, electric windows and mirrors, CD player with aux and Bluetooth, and a Bose sound system – not fancy, but definitely fun to listen to.

The engine’s reliable, drives quietly, and I’ve had it through a few services, last one just before MOT which is due in August 2026. Mileage’s at 106k, and it’s got a decent fuel economy – I’m talking 40+ MPG, so it’s pretty economical for a hatchback.

The rear seats fold flat, so it’s handy for trips or when you’ve got a bit more stuff to carry. Also has ISOFIX points – useful if you’ve got kids or just like to keep things safe.

I’m not selling it to get rich, just passing it on because I’ve moved on to something else. It’s not perfect – it’s not a show car, and it’s a bit older – but it’s been well looked after and still runs well.
