Chip scuttle EN28 ACW-1

Description

Got this one to sell for a friend who runs a cafe — he’s now got a new setup and doesn’t need it anymore. It’s the EN28 model, ACW-1, a proper chip scuttle with a gantry halogen lamp heating from above. Works great under a heat lamp or with a small carvery unit for cooked meat.

The body’s stainless steel, easy to clean, and the 13.5-litre (23.7 pint) gastronorm pan’s big enough for a decent batch. Has a removable oil tray, thermostatic control, and a simple on/off switch right above the top. Uses very little energy, 13amp UK plug, and it’s CE approved.

Dimensions are 565x340x42.5mm, weighs about 5.5kg. I’ve kept it in good shape — just needs a bit of a wipe down.
