2023 MG ZS 1.0T GDi Exclusive 5-door Hatchback

Description

This MG ZS is a solid little car – practical, well-equipped, and not too flashy but definitely handy. I bought it new from a MG-approved dealer back in 2023, and it’s been my daily driver for over a year now. It’s got a clean history and I’ve only had it serviced properly at the dealer, so it’s in great shape.

The 10.1-inch touchscreen is bright and responsive, and I use it all the time – Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work smoothly, plus there’s a full 360-degree camera and parking sensors that really help when I’m struggling with tight spaces. I also appreciate the blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert – useful when merging or parking.

Inside, it’s comfortable with leather seats and a decent amount of storage. The second row has a 60/40 split that folds flat, and there’s room for three adults. The rear headrests are a nice touch, and I’ve never had an issue with the heating or climate control.

It’s got a lot of tech under the skin – Bluetooth, USB charging, DAB, trip computer, cruise control with speed limiter, eCall, and even a driver info display. The headlights are LED, with daytime running lights and rain-sensing wipers. The alloy wheels are 17-inch Tomahawk style, and the roof rails and bumpers are body-colour, which gives it a tidy, finished look.

Safety features are solid: ABS, ESP, airbags (including side and curtain), EBA, tyre pressure monitoring, and an alarm with engine immobiliser. The doors auto-lock in a crash, and there’s a child lock on the rear doors.

I’m moving to llanwrtyd-wells, Powys, and am looking to part ways with it. It’s not exactly a luxury car, but it gets me where I need to go reliably and efficiently. I’ve only driven it about 15,000 miles, so it’s been well-maintained.

The price is £15,606.90 – not a lot to pay for a car that’s actually very usable. I’ve kept it simple and low-maintenance, and it’s never been a problem to keep running.
