So I’ve got this 2009 Ford KA — one owner from new, which is a big deal. It’s got a 1.2L petrol engine, air con, electric windows, wing mirrors, heated front windscreen, alloy wheels, CD player and aux. The car’s been well looked after — I’ve actually inherited it and it’s been in one family since day one.

It’s had a full service history, with a folder full of receipts from Ford, including the original purchase invoice. I just did a full service recently — new oil, filters, and engine mount fitted. The clutch was replaced about two years ago, and it’s been properly maintained over the years.

It’s had a 12-month MOT, so it’s roadworthy and ready to drive. Road tax is £35 a year, which is really low. The car’s clean inside and out, and I’ve never let it go down the road without a proper check.

I’ve already got my own car now, so I’m just passing this one on. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and has a solid history. I’ve only used it for short trips and kept it in good shape.
