2015 Ford Transit Panel Van, Manual, 2198cc
Description
My 2015 Ford Transit has been turned into a real travel spot—no fancy words, just solid, practical living space. I bought it a few years ago and slowly converted it over, and now it’s basically my weekend escape. It’s a proper panel van, manual gearbox, and it’s got that classic, rugged look. The key thing is the sleeping setup: there’s a central table and bench that just snap into a king-size bed when you add the slats. No fuss, no hassle—just a real bed if you’re camping or doing a long weekend.
Storage is actually pretty smart. There’s under-bench space you can access from inside, and a couple of pull-out drawers at the back. The rear drawers? Perfect for a BBQ. I’ve used it on the edge of the woods and at local parks—grilling on a tabletop gas grill while the kids play or I read a book.
Behind the driver’s seat is a tall cabinet with a double-key lock. Keeps my phone, wallet, and a few essentials safe. Also has room for gear if I’m going on a longer trip—like a week away.
There’s a chemical toilet tucked under the bench, good for 3–4 days before you need to empty it. I’ve used it plenty on quiet country drives, and it’s been reliable.
I can plug into campsite power, or I’ve used the leisure battery for off-grid trips. The diesel heater? A lifesaver in winter. It keeps the inside warm even on frosty nights.
I’ve been using it for all sorts of things—festivals, quiet countryside walks, even just getting out of town for a couple of days. It’s not flashy, but it does what it’s supposed to.
If you’re into practical, low-maintenance living on the move, this might be something you’d actually enjoy. I’m happy to chat or show it over if you’re interested. Location’s stockbridge-hampshire, Test Valley.
(Price is £14,400—just wanted to be transparent, but it’s not something I’m selling for quick cash. It’s more of a lifestyle thing.)
