Description

I’ve had this Dahon Expresso folding bike for a few years now, and it’s been my go-to for commuting and weekend rides around Stevenage, Hertfordshire. It’s not super flashy, but it’s solid — I’ve used it regularly, and it’s held up well.

It’s a large-wheel folding bike with a full-size urban MTB frame, and the specs are pretty standard for a bike like this: 24 speeds, 26-inch wheels, and a decent amount of storage space when folded. The weight is around 34 lbs, and when folded, it’s about 42.5 inches long — not too big to carry around, especially in the UK weather.

I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s only been lightly used. The brakes, gears, and wheels are all in good shape. I’ve used it with Kenda tires and the original saddle, which is comfortable for a bit of a long ride. There’s a foldable pedal and kickstand too, which makes it easy to store or take on trips.

It’s best for riders between 5’1” and 6’5”, and I’m happy to say it’s been fine for my height and weight. I’m not selling it to be flashy — I just needed a space-saving bike that actually works. It’s been a real life-saver during the colder months when the roads get muddy.

The price is £225, but if you're serious about using it, I’m happy to chat. Just let me know — I’ve actually lived in Stevenage for a while now, so I can help with anything you need.

No fancy claims — just a bike that’s been trusted over the years.
