Fishing seat box and trays

Got this Caperlan CSB D36 seatbox from a few years back – top spec, built for serious fishing. The footplate pulls out and you can extend it to one side, which is handy when you're not using it. Front legs are two-stage extendable, and there’s threaded ends for accessories – useful if you want to add things later. Comes with a carry strap, which is a real plus when you're on the move.

One little snag is that the catch holding the footplate is a bit fiddly – it’s not a deal breaker, just something I noticed when I was testing it. Not light at all, but it’s solid and built to last. There are three trays, a detachable shallow box under the seat, and a shallow storage area underneath. The quick-adjust legs are a game changer – no screws, just a couple of minutes to set it up. I’ve used it loads and it’s always stable. Built-in levels mean it’s not going to wobble, which is a big win.

I’ve got a set of standalone side trays too – they’re in the photos, and I’m happy to sell them with or without the main seat. If I split it up, I’ll be happy to sell the trays separately. It’s not light, but it’s definitely not flimsy. New price is over £500, so this feels like a real bargain. Still on the list if it’s still around – I’ll keep it out there as long as it’s wanted.
