2002 Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Kompressor Convertible
Description
I’ve had this 2002 Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Kompressor convertible for a few years now, and honestly, it’s one of the most enjoyable cars I’ve ever driven. It’s in brilliant condition, still runs smooth, and the 2.0L engine gives you that punchy, responsive feel—163 bhp isn’t just a number, you feel it when you take the corner or accelerate. It’s Brilliant Silver with a metallic finish, so it catches the light and looks sharp. The leather seats are in great shape, not worn out, and the adjustable steering column means I can get my perfect driving position—especially useful on long drives. The 15-inch alloy wheels add a bit of sportiness without looking too flashy.
I’ve kept it well maintained over the years, and it has a full service history. The car’s been checked through with HPI and has all the safety features you’d expect—airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, cruise control, electric windows, and a decent radio with cassette. There’s also a spare wheel (space saver), and it comes with spare keys.
It’s currently on display at our showroom in Tadworth, Reigate and Banstead, and I’m happy to arrange a viewing by appointment. No need to make a special trip—just give me a call and we’ll sort something out.
I’m not selling it to anyone in a hurry, and I’ve only just recently decided to part with it after using it for a long time. The price is £6,295.50, but I don’t talk about that much—just that it’s a solid, well-maintained classic with a great driving character.
If you’ve ever wanted to drive something with that classic Mercedes feel—smooth, refined, and a bit of character—this one’s worth a look.
Let me know if you’re interested—happy to chat more or show you how it drives.
P.S. If you’re looking to sell your own car, we’re always buying clean, low-mileage sports and performance cars. Fair prices, no pressure. Just give us a ring.
