Abby GTS 216 touring caravan

Description

I’ve just come back from a holiday in this caravan and it’s been sitting in the garden at new-milton, New Forest, mostly idle but still fully usable. It’s an Abby GTS 216, 2-3 berth, with a full gas cooker — four burners, oven, and grill — and a 3-way gas and electric fridge. The heating’s been upgraded with a diesel air heater, and it’s got a LED display with remote control and WiFi, so you can start or turn off the heating from inside or outside.

All the lights have been replaced with new LED strips — ceiling and outside door awning lights — and it has a pull-out bed and a full-size dining table. Everything electric works fine: kitchen tap, shower, and on-board water boiler. The bathroom is a full end bathroom with a cassette toilet and shower, plus a wardrobe and drawers.

I’ve got a mobile wheelie water tank and a new still-in-bag water pump that just plugs into the side — supplies water for the boiler, tap, and shower. It also has grey water, hitch lock, and two wheel locks, plus alloy wheels. The brakes and lights are fine after a recent tow — no issues at all.

There’s a bit of damp around the bathroom window and some areas inside, especially near the windows — the ceiling’s dry and solid, though. The windows are cracked, but it’s still livable. I’ve been using it recently, so it’s not just sitting in a shed.

It’s Chris registered in my name with full logbook and manuals on board. I’ve got all the keys and paperwork. It’s a bit of a space hog, so I’m selling it quickly. The price is £535.50 — I know it’s not what you’d expect for a caravan, but it’s what I’m offering after all the upkeep and use.

If you're looking for something solid and practical to tow with a medium-sized car, this might be it. Just be aware it needs a bit of inside work — but it’s been used and cared for, and it’s ready to go.
