Description
Honestly, I’ve been keeping this boat in Alnwick, Northumberland for years now — it’s been a real part of my life, especially when I used to go on holidays with friends. It’s an 1983 Achillies 840, 28ft, five-berth, with a solid inboard engine and has been well looked after. VHF radio, gimbled gas oven, full canopy with sea spray hood and bimini top — everything’s in place. Sails and covers are all there, and it’s got a full set of gear. The depth sounder, auto helm, and diesel heater are all working fine. That 12v fridge was recently updated — compressor replaced, so it’s running smoothly now. I’ve even got a new electric sea toilet I bought recently. Anchor and chain are still in good shape. It’s nearly new, and I’ve been using it for a lot of weekend trips and coastal sailing. I’m selling it because I’ve decided to shift careers — it’s been a great companion, but now I’m focusing on something else. Still, if you’re into sailing and want a reliable, proven boat that’s ready to go, this one’s got you covered. Just thought I’d share it.
