BMW Z3 - Starts and Runs, Needs a Bit of Work

I’ve had this BMW Z3 for a year now — bought it to get it back on the road, but life got busy and I never got around to fixing it. It starts and runs, though I know it needs a new battery. I can show it running if you want to see it.

It’s been off the road since July 2022, so no MOT or tax. I haven’t had it fully checked, so I don’t know what it’ll need for an MOT — but I do know there’s a burst front brake pipe, a bit of a hiss from the exhaust, and a hole in the sill cover. The skirt’s still bolted on, so I can just replace it with a matching one instead of welding.

The body’s actually pretty solid for a 25-year-old car — just looks dusty in the photos, I’ll clean it up soon. The roof’s in good shape too, though the rear window plastic has cracked. It still zips on, so I could easily swap that out without replacing the whole roof.

Interior’s red leather, has alloys, electric windows, CD player, front fog lights — all the good bits. A solid setup for a modern classic. I’ve got the original V5 in my name and the original wallet/booklets too.

It’ll need to be towed or recovered — the brake pipe is a bit of a problem.

It’s worth more in parts than I’m charging, so no lower offers. I’ve been meaning to sell it for spares or as a project — it’s not a lot of these left around. I’m based in Steyning, Horsham.
