So, I’ve had this 2009 Suzuki Swift 1.5 GLX for a few years now – it’s been my daily driver through a lot of changes, and I’m finally letting it go. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid. Only 65k miles on the clock, ULEZ compliant, and the MOT runs until June 2026. I’ve only had one registered keeper, which means it’s been a straightforward journey from start to finish.

It’s a five-door hatchback with five seats – plenty of space for me and my family, especially when we’re on the move. It runs on petrol, and it’s been well looked after. I’ve kept it tidy and done regular service checks, so it’s reliable and easy to drive.

A few things I’ve noticed over the years: digital clock, door ajar warning, electric tailgate release, fuel consumption screen, lights on warning, and a low fuel alert. The mirrors and bumpers are body-coloured, and there’s a decent amount of storage – cup holders, glovebox, rear shelf, and even a sunvisor with a ticket slot. The interior is clean and hasn’t been overstressed by use.

I’ve also got a few little extras like heated mirrors, rear window heating, fog lights, and an AM/FM radio with CD player. The seats have full 3-point belts and head restraints, and there’s a centre console with storage. The steering column is adjustable, and the seats are comfortable.

It’s not a show car, but it gets the job done. I’m moving to Berriedale in the Highlands, so I’m not planning on using it much anymore. I’ve kept it in good shape, and it’s been a reliable partner over the years.

I’m not selling it for a lot – it’s just a bit of a life change. The price is £2,232, which is fair given the mileage and condition. If you’re looking for something practical, low-maintenance, and not too flashy, this one’s worth a look.
