This 2014 Peugeot 208 has been a solid workhorse for me over the years — a bit of a classic in the hatchback category. I’ve had it for a few years now, and it’s been reliable, low-maintenance, and actually quite pleasant to drive, especially in the countryside around Pickering.

It’s got that sleek grey finish, which I’ve kept mostly untouched, and the 15-inch Azote alloy wheels look good without being flashy. The automatic transmission is smooth — no jolts, just a calm ride whether I’m getting into the city or heading out on a quiet road.

Safety features are solid: ABS, ESP, airbags front and side, EBA, and even a speed limiter and cruise control. The rear seats are a bit tight, but it’s still a five-door hatch, so it’s handy for families or when you’ve got a few bags.

It’s been fully inspected, has a clean HPI, and comes with a 3-month warranty on parts and labour — just in case something unexpected shows up. I’ve also kept the original spare wheel, which is a nice touch.
