So, I’ve got this 2013 Mercedes S550 Grand Edition LWB (W221) sitting in my garage in New Quay, Ceredigion — it’s one of those cars you just can’t not notice when you see it.

It’s finished in Metallic Obsidian Black with a nice contrast interior — semi-aniline black and anthracite, with ash tree wood veneer. The AMG sports package is right there: 19-inch alloy wheels, front spoiler, side skirts, and all that classic Mercedes luxury. It’s got a 4700cc V8 engine (M278), direct start, eco start/stop, and all the modern driver aids — lane keeping, drowsiness detection, blind spot assist, cruise control, rear camera, and even a remote-controlled sat nav with a premium sound system.

The car has only done 34,881 miles from new — all of it under Japanese ownership, with full service records and handbooks from Japan. I’ve had it registered in the UK, all the taxes and duties paid. It’s got a MOT until December 2025, HPI clear, and comes with a 12-month warranty (can extend).

It’s been properly stored and maintained, and I’ve just taken it through a full UK handover — all the original manuals, service books, and keys are included.
